Upgrades are only available for Men’s Health, Women’s Health, ELLE and Good Housekeeping.
An upgrade will allow you to switch your digital or print subscription to a membership for the same brand.
Having a membership will fully unlock the brand app, giving you unlimited access to exclusive content and much more. To view what you will have access to, please click here and choose the relevant brand.
If you have one of the following active subscriptions for a brand that offers upgrades, and you have two or more months remaining, you are able to upgrade to a membership for that brand.
- Print magazine
- Digital Edition, purchased directly from hearstmagazines.co.uk
- Print magazine + Digital Edition, purchased directly from hearstmagazines.co.uk
Active subscriptions with one month or less remaining cannot upgrade.
Cancelled or expired subscriptions are not eligible for an upgrade.
Please note, if you were gifted a subscription, only the bill payer can upgrade. In order to benefit from the upgrade, you will need to ask the bill payer to upgrade for you online using their customer account or to contact us.
If you have only recently purchased a subscription and you are paying with Direct Debit, please note, it could take around 14 days for you to be eligible for an upgrade.
If you already have a membership, you won’t be able to upgrade.

If you have a Digital, Print or a Digital + Print subscription, then you can upgrade to a Membership.
Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade without the help of the gift buyer, as they are the bill payer and we require their permission to take payment.
Instead, you could contact us and arrange to cancel your current gift subscription and purchase a new subscription yourself. Assuming you meet the eligibility for an upgrade, you will then be able to upgrade your subscription to a membership.

When you upgrade via your online customer account, a confirmation page will display when you have successfully upgraded. You will also receive a confirmation email shortly after upgrading.
Additionally, if you log into your customer account the following day, you will see in the Manage Orders section that your subscription has now been updated to a membership.
We only offer recurring payments for our upgrades and memberships, as we really want to keep things simple and give you one less thing to remember. You’re in total control, as you’ll receive the benefit of uninterrupted service from us, until you tell us to stop.
If you decide at any time that you want to go back to your original subscription, don’t worry, simply contact us and we can downgrade you back to the same subscription that you had before you upgraded.
Alternatively, you may cancel at any time during your subscription by contacting customer service and if you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for.
Yes of course! If you are happy with your current subscription, you are free to not upgrade to a membership.
If the upgrade isn’t for you, don’t worry, simply contact us and we can downgrade you back to the same subscription that you had before you upgraded.
Please be sure to contact us one month before your membership is due to renew, in order for us to process your downgrade.

Step 1: Click this link and add your email address and customer number (found on email correspondence sent from Hearst) to set up your account.
Step 2: You'll receive a welcome email from FIIT where you'll be asked to login in via the FIIT mobile app using a 'magic link'.
Step 3: From there you can then set a password before having the options to also access FIIT on a Dashboard or TV (Sky, Virgin, Amazon Fire, Xfinity & Samsung). and choose the relevant brand.
